Sandra Hu-Torres, MD

Sandra Hu-TorresSandra Hu-Torres M.D. has recently joined North Suburban Eye Associates as a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who specializes in uveitis and glaucoma management. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Hu-Torres completed her undergraduate studies at Columbia University. A graduate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, N.Y., Dr. Hu-Torres completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel in N.J., and did her ophthalmology residency at the New York Medical College, Valhalla in New York which was affiliated with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. After that, she went on to complete a fellowship in uveitis management under Dr. C. Stephen Foster, at Massachusetts Eye Research and Surgery Institute in Cambridge M.A. in 2013.

Dr. Hu-Torres has special interests in cataract surgery, medical, laser and surgical treatment for glaucoma and uveitis as well as comprehensive ophthalmology.

Dr. Hu-Torres will see patients at all three of the North Suburban Eye Associate’ locations; in Beverly, Winchester and Wakefield. In addition, she is affiliated with the Melrose-Wakefield, Winchester and Beverly Hospitals. She is accepting patients with most major medical insurances.
