North Suburban Eye Associate is a comprehensive ophthalmology/optometry practice located in two full service offices in the Wakefield and Winchester suburbs north of Boston. We offer routine eye care and consultative services for the whole range of ophthalmic conditions as well as for glasses and contact lenses.

Our Board Certified ophthalmologists diagnose and treat cataracts, glaucoma, blepharitis, dry eye, amblyopia, strabismus, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and other diseases. Using the most up to date diagnostic equipment, including OCT, Pentacam and IOLMaster, we are able to diagnose these diseases and record images of our findings in our NextGen Electronic Medical Records system.

Dr. Evans performs LASIK surgery at Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary and also does cataract surgery with the latest presbyopia- and astigmatic-correcting intraocular lenses such as ReStor, toric and CrystaLens.

Our Board Certified optometrist deals with routine and complicated contact lenses including fitting patients with keratoconus. And our optical shops offers a full range of frames, lenses and options at prices competitive with big box store outlets.

Our doctors perform most surgery for cataracts, uncomplicated glaucoma, and muscle imbalances in children and adults in the state-of-the-art North Shore Cataract & Laser Center in Stoneham where Dr. Evans is a partial owner. This surgery center is central to our two offices and conveniently located just off the Montvale exit of I-93.
